“Both clubs wanted to sign him” – Father says visa issues preventing transfer to Everton or Blackburn Rovers

Youngster Ricsi Pisont has been blocked from joining Everton and Blackburn Rovers by visa issues.

That’s at least according to his father, who has been speaking to [Sportal](https://sportal.blikk.hu/) about his son and his attempts to join a club in England.

The newspaper reports that ‘visa problems’ have hindered the 13-year-old’s dream of making it to England and building his career.

They explain that the youngster, who is considered a ‘great talent’ for the future, has already been in England and played for both Everton and Blackburn’s academies, who were keen to have a look at him.

“He has gained great experience, and both clubs wanted to sign him,” his father revealed.

“But unfortunately, we are not yet at the point where we can get a visa to England. In any case, we are in a very good place now, serious work is underway at the Honvéd academy.”

The youngster is the nephew of István Pisont, a famous Hungarian footballer who himself played in western Europe, featuring for the likes of Charleroi and Eintracht Frankfurt as well as making 31 appearances for the Hungarian national team, scoring one goal.

His career saw him win the Hungarian League on two occasions and become something of a fan favourite with Honvéd, where he made 147 appearances and scored 21 goals.

He’s predicting big things for his young family member, suggesting Everton and Blackburn may have missed out early because of those pesky visa issues.

“He has extremely good insights, makes good decisions, has high game intelligence and is very technically prepared,” he added.

“If his physical parameters are also appropriate, and if God helps him, he will have a very good career.”
