Luka Doncic has played just his 10th game with the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, and throughout that span, he has shown teammate Austin Reaves and the rest of the Purple and Gold what he's capable of.
Once again, Doncic helped lead the Lakers to victory, earning a 113-109 overtime win over the New York Knicks. The Slovenian star worked hard on both ends of the floor, dropping 32 points, seven rebounds, 12 assists and four steals.
While Doncic had a slow start in his tenure with the Lakers-having just come off a calf injury that sidelined him for a month and half, as well as needing to adjust to a new team-he has since returned to his old and dominant form.
In his 10 games with the Lakers so far, Doncic has averaged 23.8 points. In his last five outings for the team, he has actually put up 28.6 points per game.
Amid Doncic's dominance, Reaves couldn't help but heap praise on the 26-year-old guard. Speaking to reporters after their win over the Knicks, the Lakers fan-favorite also described Doncic as a true "killer."
"The one thing about Luka is he's a killer," Reaves shared, per Lakers Nation. "At the end of the day, he wants to go win."

Austin Reaves certainly couldn't have said it any better. Luka Doncic has been on a tear for the Lakers, and he's a big reason why they have won their eighth straight game and have a firm hold on the second seed in the Western Conference.
Making things scarier, the Lakers have yet to reach their full potential with Doncic leading the way. Once he gets used to playing alongside LeBron James and the rest of the L.A. roster, expectations are high that Doncic will be able to transform the Purple and Gold into legitimate title contenders.
