Arsenal priority target looked upon by 2 other English giants

One superstar who is top priority for Arsenal this summer is now looked upon by 2 more English giants. Chelsea have already been in the mix and this increase the chances of player ending up at Premier League even further.

The star in question here is Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig. Gunners tried to sign him last summer after his superb debut season at Germany. But, the deal ended in failure and the Slovenian striker extended his stay at Leipzig.

Sesko is tied to the German club until 2029 but is reported to be on the move once again. The Slovenian has new release clause being inserted in his contract. As of now, it is €70 million but it will increase with goals, assists and games played.

Sesko is now said to be open to join a bigger club this summer. His release clause is believed to reach €80 million at the end of the season. Multiple clubs are showing interest in the 21 year old right now and hence the demands of Leipzig are very likely to be fulfilled.

Arsenal still keen to sign Sesko but face heavy competition

Gunners are still interested to sign Sesko as they are in need of clinical striker. They also have Alexander Isak on their radar but he can cost as high as £150 million. Hence, the North London club is said to be focused on Sesko.

Florian Plettenberg reported that several top Premier League clubs are in the race to sign Sesko. As per him, there is interest from all Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham Hotspur. Plettenberg added that Spurs have low chance but the rest 3 hold concrete interest in Sesko.

Man United may still struggle to land Sesko due to their absence from European competitions next season. As of now, Arsenal are still said to have lead in the race but it will be interesting to see how Sesko transfer saga unfolds.
