What energy are you channeling for FW this year?
For this FW, I'm all about that soft, ethereal energy, like an urban fairy. I want to move through the season with that light, almost otherworldly vibe.
How to achieve that vibe with the Field General? Any unexpected combos?
The Field General has this bold and grounded energy, so l'd mix it with something sheer or asymmetrical to contrast the structure. Maybe a long, flowy skirt with a fitted top, or throwing in some scrunched leg warmers or colored tights for a softer twist.
What's your favorite Nike silhouette of all time?
Nike Shox TL, easy. They have this futuristic but kind of throwback feel that just works. I love how they immediately shape an outfit and add dimension to a look without trying too hard.

Favorite Field General colorway?
The black ones with the silver swoosh are my favorites. I love anything black, and that touch of metallic just elevates the sneaker for me.
How to style it best? Take us through the fit.
I think playing around with textures and silhouettes is always fun—a more “preppy” oversized or office-meets-street fit is very chic, in my opinion.
If the Field General was a club track, what would it be?
I would say ‘3am Base’ by Illegal Nobility. It’s calm and cool, but it has a certain bounce and understated edge to it.

To successfully make sporty styles into an elevated look, you need to think about proportions that fit your body type. If you want to go with a modern athleisure look, you want to make sure to mix textures and not just colors while keeping one’s proportions in mind.
Dressing up or dressing down for fashion week?
I’m somewhere in between dressing up and dressing down for fashion week. The goal usually is to have my outfit come off in an effortless way, in a way that doesn’t seem over-thought or overdressed.
Which Field General colorway most matches your vibe? Why?
I love the electric blue colorway because it would work on days when I need a nice pop of color. The green colorway is quite versatile and can go with neutral-toned outfits—it has a bit of a '90s feel, which I love.

Sneakers at fashion week—how to pull them off?
I always like to dress them up and make them more feminine. Pair the sneakers with some fun statement pieces, whether that’s an interesting skirt or jacket! You can also match your sneakers to the rest of your outfit with fun color combos.
Your top styling tip for staying comfortable all day?
Wear something versatile. Always dress for the weather - layers are great if you need to switch up the vibe of an outfit, depending on what event or show you’re going to!

To me, the Nike Field General stands out for its retro football-inspired design—its blend of vintage aesthetics with modern comfort.

It depends on the vibe—matching your sneaker color to the fit creates a clean, coordinated look, while clashing can add bold personality and contrast. Personally I don’t think about it, I just wear whatever I feel like.
One sneaker trend you’re excited about for 2025?
The return of football-inspired sneakers. I see it everywhere. My favorite shoe as a kid was the Total 90, and it seems like it’s coming back!
