The Boston Celtics kept their foot on the gas with a 123-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. This was Boston's third straight win as they look to keep up the pace behind the 52-10 Cleveland Cavaliers.
Jayson Tatum went off against the Sixers, dropping a game-high 35 points, seven rebounds, three steals and five triples to lead the Celtics to a win over a shorthanded Sixers side that did not have the services of Joel Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey.
Up next for Boston is a home game against their bitter rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers. Tatum is clearly looking forward to testing their mettle against a new-look Lakers side at the TD Garden on Saturday. In fact, he might have been a little bit too excited.
"It's gonna be a fun one, man," he said during his postgame interview on Thursday. "ABC. Celtics vs. Lakers. It's what the fans want to see."
What Tatum forgot, however, was that he was speaking on the TNT broadcast. Reporter Jared Greenberg just had to call the Celtics star out.
"Well, thanks for that promo on TNT, appreciate it," Greenberg said.

Even esteemed announcer Kevin Harlan had to chime in, hilariously calling Tatum out for his live TV blunder.
"What's going on?" Harlan stated. "Hey, you can't do that!"
To be fair, Tatum immediately realized his error. "My bad," he said, laughing.
As Tatum mentioned, Saturday's rivalry matchup between the Celtics and the Lakers will be broadcast nationwide by ABC with tip-off scheduled at 8:30 p.m. ET.
