David Moyes has shared an update on the availability of four Everton players ahead of the clash with Wolves on Saturday.

The Blues are looking to continue their seven-match unbeaten run in the Premier League in the Molineux clash (8 March).

The Toffees will be confident of doing exactly that given the fact that their opponents have won just of the last nine league matches and sit just above the relegation zone.

Moyes will be expecting his side to continue their impressive form but new developments could hinder his plans.

Moyes confirms Ndiaye absence for Everton v Wolves

The most impressive aspect of the Blues’ recent form is the fact that they have had several injury issues in that period.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

Their attack has been decimated with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dwight McNeil, and Armando Broja having missed a significant amount that run.

The Goodison Park outfit were also without Iliman Ndiaye for the majority of that run, as he was taken off after just 25 minutes of the draw with Liverpool and missed draws with Manchester United and Brentford and the win over Crystal Palace.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference (7 March), Moyes provided an update on his attacking options, saying: “The likes of Dwight, Iliman, Dom, I don’t think any of those three at the moment are really are close.

“Iliman is doing much better, he’s not running yet but he’s certainly improving from his injury.”

Moyes also confirmed that Seamus Coleman is “much nearer” to a return but not likely to feature against Wolves.

Everton can continue top half push

The Toffees’ form since Moyes returned to the dugout has been nothing short of remarkable.

His side are a world away from the team that were in serious danger of being relegated with Sean Dyche at the helm.

The Blues are ten points behind 10th-placed Aston Villa but it is a very realistic possibility that they could catch up, given their stunning recent run.

If Moyes can take his side anywhere near a top-half finish, it would be a tremendous achievement and give Blues supporters a lot of encouragement for next season.

There is already a considerable amount of expectation given the move to the new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium and the fact that the Friedkin Group are set to back the club in the summer transfer window.

The focus for now must be on securing the best possible finish to the campaign and that would start with victory against Wolves.
