The Reds did their best:
Manchester Unitedprobably played their best match since the last two or three seasons probably. They finally ended the match with a draw. It was still a horrendous performance by them. It was a miracle that Johua Zirkzee scored the goal forManchester United. This was very surprising to see him score a goal to be honest. This is probably a historical moment for the club as well. The Reds were also looking to scoring more goals. However, they failed to convert most of the chances they got. In the first half they had a clear chance. However, they still missed the goal. Kubo was making a lot of really good runs for Real Sociedad through the Manchester United defence as well. They were way too vulnerable. At the same time they also had several chances but they could not convert them either.
Manchester United Player Ratings vs Real Sociedad:
Andre Onana was really good. Hs rating was 8 out of 10. He was one of the best players on the pitch for Manchester United. Leny Yoro was 6 out of 10. The player was good but too vulnerable at times. Matthijs De Ligt was 7 out of 10. He played really great throughout the match for the Reds. Noussair Mazraoui was 6 out of 10. The player was way too mediocre in the match to be honest. Diogo Dalot was 5 out of 10. He has not improved at all and his passing is horrendous to be honest.
Casemiro was 6 out of 10 and was pretty decent. Bruno Fernandes was 5 out of 10 and Patrick Dorgu was 6 out of 10. Both of them were not really good. They tried. However, failed to do anything good for the team. Zirkzee was good. However,the problem is that, apart from the goal, he did not do well. Hojlund was not there at the match. At least I did not notice him. He was 3 out of 10. Alejandro Garnacho was 6 out of 10. He played well and tried for the team.
Author’s Opinion:
I think this was a hard fought draw for Manchester United. It was expected that they will lose this match to be honest. However, the fans are shocked that the Reds ended the match with a draw.
