The performance coach and author, supported by Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown, has landed a new book deal.
Jim Murphy, the author of ‘Inner Excellence’*,* a book that went viral after Brown was shown reading it on the sidelines of multiple Eagles games, can now say he has a lot to look forward to as an author.
Murphy will re-release the bestseller under Grand Central Publishing Group. That will be re-released this spring, while Murphy’s self-published, ‘The Best Possible Life’ will be released on September 30. In addition, they plan to release an ‘Inner Excellence’ workbook.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the overwhelming response to ‘Inner Excellence’ and for the impact it’s had on so many lives around the world,” Murphy said in a statement to the Associated Press. “My mission has always been to help people unlock their full potential — not just in performance, but in life — and I’m excited to continue that journey.”
Once Brown was shown reading the book, it shot straight to the top of Amazon’s bestseller list and has now become a No.1 New York Times bestseller.
Brown has pointed to the book as a key way of keeping himself in the game. For a player like Brown, a mental edge means a lot, and Brown feels the book does that for him during games.
