According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce are the latest Super Lig club to show interest in Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell.
The left back has previously been linked with a move to Galatasaray, but their local rivals are looking to get ahead of them in the race to sign the Eagles player.
Takvim have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of the Crystal Palace full back, and they say Fener’s sporting director Mario Branco has entered into transfer talks to sign the 25-year-old.
Fenerbahce sold Ferdi Kadıoğlu to Brighton & Hove Albion last summer and with a long-term injury to Jayden Oosterwolde, Jose Mourinho needs to address the left back position during the next window.
Mourinho is looking to build to an ambitious squad and apparently sees Mitchell in his plans.
There are no reports if the Super Lig side are in talks with Crystal Palace or the player’s agent. Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko has also been linked with a move to the Yellow Canaries in recent weeks.
Mitchell has made 32 appearances for the Premier League side this season and is contracted until June 2027.
