Manchester United are reportedly keeping their focus on a full sale for Antony, despite the forward’s resurgence during his loan spell at Real Betis.
Antony produced another strong performance for Betis, helping secure a 1-1 draw with Vitoria Guimaraes in the Conference League.
He provided the assist for Cedric Bakambu’s goal and has now registered three assists and three goals in just eight appearances for the Spanish club—matching his goal tally from 38 appearances for United last season.
While some eyebrows were raised when Antony left Manchester United for Real Betis on loan without an option for a permanent move, the transfer could prove beneficial for both sides.
United, having insisted that Betis pay 84% of his current salary, will need to sell the Brazilian for at least £32.52 million this summer to avoid a loss under the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules.

Antony’s impressive form at Betis has increased his market value, though United are still focused on a permanent sale at the end of the season, as reported by the Manchester World.
Antony’s rejuvenation at Betis has not distracted United from their primary goal of securing a permanent move.
Should the asking price not be met, the club may consider add-ons to ensure a profitable deal.
Antony’s agent recently criticized United’s head coach Ruben Amorim, who claimed the forward struggled with the physical demands of the Premier League.
“We completely disagree with his analysis,” Antony’s agent said, citing the limited playing time Antony received under Amorim.
“How can you judge an athlete without enough time for him to demonstrate his worth?”
While his impressive performances at Real Betis have boosted his value, the club is determined to meet their asking price of £32.52 million.
If that figure isn’t reached, United may explore add-ons to maximize their return on the player.
