Ruben Amorim will hope for another big performance from his Man Utd side

Chido Obi could feature for Manchester United against former club Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

The young striker swapped the Gunners for the Red Devils last summer and has been making waves in the youth team, which led to a first-team debut last month.

Obi was unavailable for United’s 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday as he was not registered for the competition.

However, manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed the 17-year-old is an option for United’s game against Arsenal on Sunday, although refused to confirm if he would start.

"Everybody can start,” he said. If they are training tomorrow [Friday], if they played today [Thursday], they can be ready. Chido is on the list, so he can play

"We are trying to see all the players that are fresh and that are not in danger of getting an injury. Even that, we have to risk a little but we have to be competitive on Sunday."

Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte also sat out of the Sociedad draw and Amorim is unsure whether or not the duo will return.
