This season has been a terrible one thus far for the Phoenix Suns and changes are likely to come in the offseason.
Phoenix entered the season with high expectations to compete near the top of the Western Conference thanks to their superstar trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
Instead, the Suns are currently fighting for their playoff lives as they sit 11th in the West standings with a 29-33 record, which has them two and a half games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the final Play-In spot.
With the Suns struggling, they are expected to make some major changes to their roster in the offseason, which could see them part ways with Durant via trade.
ESPN's Andre Snellings recently proposed a mock trade that would send Durant to the New York Knicks in the offseason.
In the trade, Snellings had the Suns sending Durant to New York in exchange for OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson.

ESPN's Bobby Marks then gave his thoughts on the trade and why it would work out well for the Suns.
"In Anunoby, the Suns get a 27-year-old impact forward on a similar career timeline with 28-year-old franchise player Booker," Marks wrote about why this trade works for the Suns. "Anunoby is an elite wing defender, named second-team All-Defense in 2023 and with Booker would form a wing tandem that is excellent at both ends of the floor. The Suns also still need more size and muscle in the middle, and the 26-year-old Robinson would give them another young veteran entering his peak seasons capable of contributing to the main rotation of a winning squad."
Marks makes a great point about Anunoby and Robinson upgrading the Suns' roster.
Of course, it looks as though the Suns are set on retooling their roster around Booker and Anunoby and Robinson would both be great fits and help them improve in multiple areas.
Despite this, the Suns may want more in return from the Knicks for Durant, especially with Anunoby and Robinson's injury history.
