Josh Hart chose to have a go at his former teammate and current Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick during the New York Knicks' game against them, pointing after he made a big three to extend the Knicks' lead. Hart is known in NBA circles as a troublemaker and a troll, so for him to go have a dig at someone he shared a locker room with was not at all surprising
However, JJ Redick would get the last laugh against his former teammate, as Gabe Vincent would make a huge three to give the Los Angeles Lakers the lead. As the Knicks called a timeout, Redick would look for and find Hart walking back to the bench and point right back at him to get his own back.
Lakers fans responded to this action almost immediately, with many of them applauding the mentality of their head coach for handling the taunts from an opposing player in the best way imaginable - not letting it go but waiting to get the upper hand before clapping back.

Redick and the Lakers would walk away the winners, as they defeated the Knicks in overtime. Hart did play well, putting up 18 points (6-13 FG), 10 rebounds, two assists, and four steals. But it wasn't enough to overcome just how well the Los Angeles Lakers played on the night.
After the game, Hart spoke about playing against a team coached by a former teammate on the New Orleans Pelicans. Unsurprisingly, he took the opportunity to poke fun at Redick, who is a good friend of his. But he also wished Redick well and explained why he must be enjoying his life so much right now.
"I've watched him enough, talked to him enough. It's not weird. He's ugly as hell with the mustache, though. JJ's a very handsome guy, but that mustache doesn't do him any good. I know he's in LA, coaching the Lakers. He's a basketball junkie. He's loving life right now because they're playing very well right now. He's doing a good job and hope for nothing but success for him, besides us, when we face out there."
Redick has transformed the Lakers into an incredible team. They have won eight consecutive games, which is the second-longest winning streak in the NBA. Now sitting in the second seed of the Western Conference, many believe the Lakers have a genuine chance to win the NBA championship.
