The Reds have up to three players who could miss Saturday’s game including two that have already been ruled out of the game.
Firstly, Joe Gomez remains out with a hamstring injury which forced him to have surgery in February. He is looking at a return in May.
Conor Bradley has also been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Arne Slot said at the end of February: “He is out for a few weeks. I cannot tell exactly how many, but it is clear that he went off with a muscle injury and that it is going to take a while before he is back.” – Bradley is looking a return in April.
Furthermore, Cody Gakpo is a doubt for the game on Saturday, he is currently being assessed ahead of the game with a calf injury.
Slot said after the win against PSG: “We’ll hopefully get a [positive] update on Cody…The way he hoisted aloft Becker at FT [in Paris] suggests the injury isn’t too severe at this stage. He’s been a big player this season. So, fingers crossed he is clear for a return.”
