The League leaders are coming into this game on the back of an exceptional result against PSG away from home in the first round of the Champions League knockouts. They will be full of confidence, and they will look to grind out all three points and extend their lead at the top of the table.

In the league, they have picked up back to back victories over Manchester City and Newcastle United. Liverpool are in exceptional form right now, and this will be a massive challenge for Southampton away from home.
