David Moyes has come on leaps and bounds since rejoining Everton and continues to show why the Friedkin Group made him Sean Dyche’s successor.
It’s been a brilliant few months after the return of Moyes at Everton as it’s been largely positive after seven Premier League games unbeaten.
Any sign of a relegation battle has vanished, but the squad could still have signs of Dyche’s leadership.
The Toffees boss won’t let that control the dressing room though, as he hasn’t held back any punches with Moyes criticising Nathan Patterson, as the Everton manager wants more from his full-back.
But on the whole, it’s been positivity, and a former Toffees player has got a case of deja vu after Moyes’ first spell.

Former Everton player Philipe Senderos notices Moyes’ brilliance
With changes happening around the club, the Friedkins have seemingly gotten Everton back on the right track.
Their Moyes appointment has helped that, but with Angus Kinnear soon to be announced, behind the scenes changes could prove to be pivotal.
Well, former Everton star Philippe Senderos has noticed something that happened behind the scenes in his short tenure with the Merseyside club which is happening now.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Senderos only played three times for Everton, as the Swiss defender was on-loan from Arsenal, but he learnt a thing or two from Moyes in 2010.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Senderos spoke on the job Moyes has done and how he’s emulated his first spell with Everton.
“A lot of managers have come in and done good things, but David knows what he can get out of this set of players,” Senderos said.
“They’ve had some good results lately, so I’m really excited for them.
“David has come in and done a great job because he focuses on the basics and makes sure the squad works together. That’s something that hit me when I was there.
“I really saw a squad pulling together, and that was impressive, and that’s what made Everton so strong for so many years.”

How Moyes has gotten rid of toxicity at Everton through old regime
When the Scotsman returned to the slub, the toxicity around Finch Farm was at an all-time high.
Players weren’t themselves, and even some Everton stars sneered at Dyche’s ways, with it always looking like an exit was near for Moyes’ predecessor.
But what the Everton boss has done is bring back the old feeling to the players about what it means to play for Everton.
Jake O’Brien, who was left in the dark under Dyche, has seen his Toffees career turnaround, as O’Brien praised Moyes’ style of play.
Senderos wasn’t at the club long, but the fact he talks about Moyes with such praise shows exactly how the Everton manager has revitalised the club.
