Manchester City have been one of the best teams in the world for a long time, and that’s largely down to the work that goes in on the training ground.
Indeed, Pep Guardiola pushes his players to their limits in training, and there have been numerous stories about how hard certain players work in training and how good these players are behind-the-scenes.
Ruben Dias is the hardest trainer at City according to some, while Jude Bellingham says Jack Grealish is unreal in training on England duty.
Meanwhile, Phil Foden is also amazing in training for England according to Kieran Trippier.
Speaking to the Premier League, Jeremy Doku has been sharing some insights into his Manchester City teammates behind the scenes, and according to the Belgian, there’s one player at City who constantly nutmegs other players in training.

Savinho always nutmegs his teammates in training
Jack Grealish was the nutmeg king at City at one point, but now, it appears as though Savinho has taken that crown.

Savinho is a very skilful player. In fact, Savinho has been compared to Riyad Mahrez in the past, and according to Doku, the Brazilian is always nutmegging his teammates in City training.
“Who does the most nutmegs in training?” Doku was asked.
“The most nutmegs? Savinho, he does it in the boxes a lot,” Doku said.
Savinho stats this season
Savinho may be embarrassing his teammates in City training, but, unfortunately, for the most part this season, that hasn’t really translated into great performances on the pitch.
Savinho has had some great moments of magic, granted, but, overall, he has been lacking end product, and that has been a real issue.
The winger’s stats from his debut season so far haven’t been incredible, particularly on the goal front.

Games 22
Goals 1
Assists 7
The £30m man has been compared to Riyad Mahrez, and while they are similar in a lot of ways, Mahrez was, generally, more effective, hitting double figures in terms of goals on a number of occasions for City.
However, at the age of just 20, Savinho has so much room to grow and improve, and if he’s consistently getting the better of his teammates in training, the technical ability is clearly there.
Savinho hasn’t had the most dazzling of debut seasons in a City shirt, but don’t be surprised if this young man does become a star in the coming years.
