Arsenal insider HandofOzil reports on Twitter that the club will look at loan offers for Tommy Setford this summer, with the aim of providing the player with more minutes.
Setford is reportedly highly rated at Arsenal, and the Gunners will make sure that guaranteed minutes are a key part of any potential loan move.
The 18-year-old has been a regular in Arsenal squads this season, featuring on the bench 11 times, including the last seven Champions League games. Yet he’s only appeared on the pitch once.

The loan market seems to have worked pretty well for other Arsenal goalkeepers recently.
Ovie Ejeheri and Arthur Okonkwo got good moves last summer after impressing on loan spells, and Karl Hein has been a regular in La Liga with Real Valladolid this campaign.
Looking a bit further back, Wojciech Szczesny spent time on loan with Brentford before making his Arsenal breakthrough (and his later loan to Roma earned him his move to Juventus) whilst Emi Martinez’s impressive spell at Reading moved him up the pecking order in north London.

It’s notoriously difficult to break into a team as a goalkeeper, so you often need that spell somewhere else to prove you’re ready for the step up. It’s up to Arsenal and Setford’s representatives to ensure the player has that platform next season.
