The Umm Al Quwain Civil Defense Department successfully extinguished a fire on Friday that broke out in a factory located in Umm Al Thaub Industrial Area. There were no reported injuries or fatalities. The firefighting teams, under the supervision of Major General Jassim Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defence, and Brigadier General Salem Hamad Bin Hamdah, Director of the Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence Department, effectively prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings.
Major General Jassim Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief of the Civil Defense, expressed gratitude to all Civil Defense partners and teams of Civil Defense stations for their contributions in safeguarding lives and maintaining property.
The Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence Department received support from the following entities: The Umm Al Quwain Police General Command, the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, the Ajman Civil Defence Department, the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence Department, the Umm Al Quwain Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Centre, the Umm Al Quwain Municipality, the Etihad Water and Electricity, and the National Ambulance.
