Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo plans to leave the club this summer amid the ongoing contract stand-off, according to The Guardian.
The England international has made rapid progress in the last year with United, but his future is uncertain due to a disagreement over personal terms.
Mainoo is presently one of the lowest earners at the club at £20,000 per week and he is reportedly eyeing close to £200,000 per week to stay put.
United have no plans of meeting his demands at the moment, but they remain optimistic of convincing him to accept a lesser weekly wage package.
Meanwhile, Mainoo has now opened the door for a new challenge away from the Red Devils and he would prefer a move abroad in the summer.
United are likely to demand in excess of £70 million for their graduate, but they may have to lower the price to attract more interest in his services.
Chelsea are also keen on signing the highly-rated youngster, but United could be reluctant to strengthen a direct league rival this summer.
