With NFL free agency looming, the Las Vegas Raiders, who are projected to have the second most salary-cap room in the NFL, are expected to be busy on the open market at several positions, including at wide receiver where they could use some veteran experience.
If one of those targets is Keenan Allen, it would be fine with plenty of Raiders’ fans.. We recently asked our community members if they would like to see the Raiders sign the former Los Angeles Chargers star in free agency.

In a poll with 428 votes cast, 224 voters (52 percent) are in favor of an Allen pursuit wile 204 voters (48 percent) think Allen’s best days are behind him.
There is reason to think the Raiders could try to sign Allen. Las Vegas’ new wide receivers coach is Chris Beatty. He has been an NFL wide receivers coach for four seasons and has coached Allen all four seasons with two different teams. The Chargers traded Allen to the Chicago Bears last year.
Allen, who turns 33 next month, could join Beatty again soon.
