Rangers can potentially complete a permanent transfer for Vaclav Cerny after what the 49ers Enterprises will bring to the table.
The Czechia international signed for the Gers on loan from Wolfsburg last summer and has been one of the best players for them this season.
The Light Blues will reportedly need to cough up £6.75million to buy Cerny from the Bundesliga outfit, a price tag that could be considered too steep.
With Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe ready to flex their financial muscle and take control at Ibrox, things could soon change.

Kieth Jackson believes the Bears will have the money to buy Cerny once the 49ers’ takeover is complete.

The Daily Record journalist has revealed that the Glaswegian outfit wouldn’t have had the funds to seal a permanent move for the 27-year-old without the American consortium’s potential arrival.

Jackson has urged the Gers to sign the forward, terming the deal a “no-brainer” after what the Wolfsburg loanee has been able to do in the current campaign.
Speaking on Hotline Live (6 March), the journalist said: “[Cerny] is a deal that has got to get done. That’s just a deal they have to do.
“Rangers wouldn’t have the money without the takeover to finance the deal. They now do. I think it’s something that absolutely looks like a no-brainer.”
Ibrox will need Cerny transfer next summer
The Ibrox faithful faced heartbreak when Abdallah Sima left the Light Blues, having signed on loan from Brighton in the 2023/24 campaign.
Cerny has been influential at the Bears this season, and he would undoubtedly be worth the money, considering his contributions in front of goal.
The Czech national was once again on the scoresheet for the Glaswegian outfit as he scored a brace in their 3-1 win over Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday (6 March).
Barry Ferguson has had a mixed start to his managerial career at the Gers, having been appointed interim manager after Philippe Clement’s sacking.
The ex-midfielder has already seen the two sides of his squad in the first three games, as they struggled in the Scottish Premiership but put on an impressive display in Europe.
It would be surprising to see Ferguson stay in the dugout beyond this season, but he will undoubtedly recommend Cerny’s signing to the next manager.
The 49ers have been cautious with their money at Leeds United but will undoubtedly realise the importance of Cerny at Ibrox and may make funds available next summer.
