Tottenham favourites to land exciting winger but Daniel Levy will only pay half price

Tottenham Hotspur believe they are well-placed to sign exciting young Premier League winger Tyler Dibling, but they have no intention of paying the requested asking price for the youngster.

If you have been following Spurs Web’s coverage, you will know that a number of outlets have talked up Tottenham’s interest in Tyler Dibling ahead of the summer window.

Various sources over recent weeks have claimed that Spurs have identified Dibling as one of the top targets to strengthen their forward line.

In fact, it was even revealed earlier this week that Tottenham believe they are at the front of the queue to sign Dibling when the Saints go down, even though Aston Villa and Newcastle have also expressed their interest in the teenager.

Tottenham will only offer £25m for Tyler Dibling

TBR Football have now revealed that Spurs are indeed the favourites to secure the England Under-21 international after the player turned down the chance to sign a new deal at St Mary’s.

However, it is explained that Southampton have slapped a price tag of £50m on their academy graduate, which Spurs have no intention of paying.

Even though Tottenham see Dibling as one for the future, they are reportedly only willing to pay £25m for him, given that the youngster enters the final year of his deal this June.

TBR Football go on to state that the Southampton man is seen as ‘the perfect addition’ to his frontline by Ange Postecoglou to compliment the other wingers at his disposal.

Interestingly, it is revealed that Dibling would welcome the chance to swap St Mary’s for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of the season.

As a result, the North London club are thought to be confident that they will be able to get their hands on the player in the summer.
