ESPN Makes Adam Schefter Move on Friday

ESPN is expanding its coverage of the NFL with six additional hours dedicated to the free agency negotiating period, which begins on Monday, March 10, at noon ET and continues through Wednesday, March 12, at 4 p.m.

Adam Schefter will anchor the Worldwide Leader's coverage. On Monday, ESPN is adding a two-hour, mid-day edition of "SportsCenter Special: NFL Free Agency Countdown," airing from noon to 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Meanwhile, on ESPN, "NFL Free Agency Countdown" will broadcast from 3 to 4 p.m., followed by NFL Live from 4 to 5 p.m.

As highlighted in ESPN's press release, "As the dominos begin to fall within the NFL free agency market, Schefter will be at the forefront of ESPN's coverage on NFL Live and NFL Free Agency Countdown, as well as appearing on ESPN's morning slate of programming.

"ESPN's top NFL insider will be joined by Jeremy Fowler, Dan Orlovsky and Louis Riddick on all editions of NFL Free Agency Countdown."

This year's top free agents and their destinations will certainly push huge narratives for the 2025 NFL season. Quarterbacks Sam Darnold, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are a few of the names who could shape franchises in the coming year.

Big-time wide receivers like Chris Godwin, Davante Adams and Amari Cooper are available. Some of the game's top running backs are scheduled to be free agents like Aaron Jones, Nick Chubb and Najee Harris.
