Broncos Host Kansas State Running Back for Top-30 Visit

The Denver Broncos saw a lot of prospects at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. To get a better look at these players, the Broncos will bring some in for top-30 visits.

A top-30 visit involves a player being interviewed at a team's facility. Since each team receives only 30 visits, each one is crucial.

According to Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network, Kansas State running back DJ Giddens was the Broncos' first top-30 visitor.

The Denver Broncos hosted Kansas State RB DJ Giddens for a 30 visit, per a league source.

6'0", 212 lbs ball-carrier rushed for over 1,200 yards in ‘23/‘24 with 21 total TDs combined in his final two seasons. Ran 4.43 in Indy with a 10'10" broad & 39.5" vert.

Giddens, a 21-year-old junior, is entering the 2025 NFL Draft after an impressive collegiate career. He amassed 3,088 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns.

In addition to his rushing abilities, Giddens was an effective receiver out of the backfield. As a starter in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he posted 50 receptions for 584 yards and four touchdowns. However, he also recorded five drops as a receiver in 2024.

At the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, Giddens delivered an outstanding performance. Kent Lee Platte created the Relative Athletic Score (RAS), which measures a player's athleticism at the Combine compared to others at their position.

DJ Giddens is a RB prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.78 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 43 out of 1909 RB from 1987 to 2025.

Giddens' 9.78 RAS out of 10 ranked among the most athletic running backs ever. His performance was ranked 43rd out of 1,909 running backs to perform at the Combine since 1987. His 4.43 40-yard dash stood out, especially given Giddens' larger frame.

The Broncos hosted Giddens for their first post-combine top-30 visit. His draft range is on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft, and he could provide a solution to their running back needs in the offseason.
