There has yet to be an official announcement from the team, but the popular salary cap site, Over The Cap, lists both defensive tackle Jonathan Ford and cornerback Ameer Speed in the signed column for the [Chicago Bears](https://www.windycitygridiron.com/).
Each was an exclusive rights free agent, so tendering them an offer was always the most likely outcome. In case you missed it, linebacker Daniel Hardy and offensive lineman Bill Murray were also tendered one-year offers as ERFAs.
So far, the only restricted free agent set to return is cornerback Josh Blackwell, who agreed to a two-year deal yesterday.
The deadline to submit qualifying offers to restricted free agents (RFAs) and exclusive rights free agents (ERFAs) is the start of the league year, when free agency opens on March 12 at 3:00 p.m. (CT).
The Bears' remaining RFAs are Jaylon Jones, Chris Williams, Doug Kramer, and Jack Sanborn, although it was reported that Sanborn would not be tendered a qualifying offer.
Chicago’s only remaining ERFA per Over The Cap is defensive back Douglas Coleman III, who was waiver/injured last season and reverted to the Bears' injured reserve list after passing through waivers, although he’s not listed on the team site, which could mean he was released.
