The conversation around Shedeur Sanders has shifted a few times leading up to the NFL draft. One turning point was a report following the NFL Combine, calling the Buffs 'Grown' QB 'brash' and 'arrogant'.
At one point, Sanders was considered a lock for the top overall pick to the Tennessee Titans. While that remains true for some analysts, doubts have arisen on if he would get skipped over by every NFL team.

The Athletic's Dane Brugler called Sanders, "A wild card in this draft." Not a complete spin on the situation but would be interesting to see. Brugler highlighted the volatility in Sanders' stock by saying he might "go in the top six or fall out of the first round entirely-and neither outcome would be a shock."
Never before has an NFL draft prospect been subject of such a wide gap in projections. Sanders is a quality quarterback with tremendous potential and ready to prove critics wrong.

Teams who are looking for quarterback early in the draft might consider trading back for Shedeur. A win-win to get top-tier talent, along with collecting more draft picks in the process. It all depends on Sanders being available past the first 12 picks.

If Sanders goes in free fall and slides to the later part of the first round, teams might consider him a future option like the Kansas City Chiefs did with Patrick Mahomes coming in to eventually replace Alex Smith. With less than fifty days to the NFL Draft in Green Bay, Sanders will be the most talked about for very different reasons.
