Wolves will attempt to shrug off relegation when they come up against fellow Premier Division bottom dwellers Hamilton Parish at Wellington Oval tomorrow.
There will be no margin for error for Vince Minors Jr’s team who find themselves in a must-win situation to avoid making an immediate return to the First Division with two games remaining in the season.
“It’s all or nothing and we have to put what we’ve gone through behind us,” Minors told The Royal Gazette.
“This is it, do or die. Put the pedal to the floor and fight kicking and screaming; that’s what we have to do.”
Wolves sit at the bottom of the standings and must win all of their remaining matches, significantly improve their goal difference and hope other results go their way if they are to avoid taking the plunge.
Minors believes his team have been their own worst enemy over the course of the season, as costly errors have taken their toll.
“We have felt capable of getting results but have let ourselves down,” he said. “We have been in most matches up to 85 minutes and found a way to lose.”

Time is also running out for second-from-bottom Parish, who will be keen to secure as many points as possible from their remaining matches and also rely on other results to go their way to retain top-flight status.
“We definitely have to keep on winning,” Sergio Goater, the Parish coach, said. “One good thing is we do have to play the other teams fighting relegation with us, so it’s still in our hands.”
Parish were on a high after triumphantly lifting the Dudley Eve Trophy, the club’s first major title, last November but have struggled since as injuries, suspensions and player unavailability have taken their toll.
“It’s just been hard for us because every week it’s somebody is away, injured or suspended, so we’ve definitely been up against it all year,” Goater added.
“But we are still optimistic and we are going to do as much as we can to stay in this division.”
