The New York Knicks are having a great season, holding a strong 40-22 record and sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference.
They've been scoring well, defending hard, and are in excellent shape to make a strong push in the playoffs.
However, the team is facing some challenges as they prepare for their next game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
There's some concern about Karl-Anthony Towns' health as the Knicks traverse California.
Knicks receive Towns injury update
Towns has been one of the Knicks' key players this season, averaging 24.5 points and grabbing a career-high 13.4 rebounds per game.
But the knee problem seems to be slowing him down lately-he's only been scoring 14 points on 37% shooting in the last three games. Despite this, Towns continues to perform consistently and give his best.
According to insider Alan Hahn, Towns is dealing with a knee issue that's been bothering him for a while.
"The knee is not good, but he's fighting through it. He wants to play," Hahn said.

The ex-Minnesota Timberwolves have shown resilience with this injury; if you want a tough guy, it seems New York found their guy.
Coach Tom Thibodeau has praised Towns for his toughness and dedication, but the team is also being careful about managing his minutes.
With the Knicks facing tough games ahead, including their matchup with the Clippers, Towns' condition will be something everyone keeps an eye on.
His health is going to be a big factor as the Knicks look to keep their great season on track and make a deep playoff run. For now, fans can only admire his grit and hope he gets back to his best soon.
