Kingsley Coman has spent over a decade of his career at Bayern Munich, including loan stints when he was with Juventus, but it looks like his days with the club are now numbered. Under Vincent Kompany so far this seasoned, it has varied as to what the French winger’s order is on the team sheet depth chart, but the Belgian manager most often picks Michael Olise first with one of Coman, Serge Gnabry, or Leroy Sané on the opposite flank of the former Crystal Palace man.
Per information from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg (via @iMiaSanMia), Coman is actively planning to leave Bayern Munich this summer and the club would not stand in his way. He currently has a preference of going to Saudi Arabia and a transfer fee of roughly €30-40m is to be expected for the French international. His current market value via Transfermarkt is right in between the expected transfer fee, ringing in at €35m, but said value has been on a steady decline from its zenith of €65m, which was last valuated in December of 2023.
Injuries, not being favored by different managers at different times a la Julian Nagelsmann, Thomas Tuchel and Kompany, and Bayern having their struggles last season have all contributed to Coman’s value decrease. Still, though, since his current contract with the club runs through June 2027, this summer would be a good time to offload him for the value they can still get, and he was very close to going to Saudi Arabia already in last summer’s transfer window.

Additionally, per information from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk (via @iMiaSanMia), there are also a trio of Premier League clubs interested in trying to sign Coman this summer. Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are all said to be interested in the winger, but the three clubs might face difficulties in trying to match an offer that would wind up coming in from a Saudi Pro League club.
There is still, however, plenty of time between now and the end of the season leading into the transfer window, though. Liverpool still have not renewed the contract of Mohamed Salah and Liverpool FC are also considering the option of going for Alexander Isak from Newcastle, so either club could be in need of a player like Coman.
