Jurgen Klopp plans Liverpool return but only on one condition

Jurgen Klopp reveals his plan to return to Liverpool but only after one condition has been been achieved this term.

Klopp, who left the Reds at the end of last season and was replaced by Arne Slot, has seen the team he left last season in excellent form this season.

They currently hold a 13 points lead at the top of the Premier League table, are in the final of Carabao Cup, and also hold a slim 1-0 advantage over PSG heading into the second leg of their Round of 16 leg.

Jurgen Klopp explains condition for Anfield return

The ex-Liverpool boss has not attended a Liverpool game this season, since becoming the Red Bull’s global head of soccer after leaving Anfield.

According to the German, he intends to return to watch the Reds, but only once the Premier League triumph has been secured.

Klopp also plans on attending the planned parade across the city in celebration of LFC lifting the league. As per Liverpool.com, Klopp said,

“Yes, the plan is to be there for the celebrations but not on the bus,” he said in response to being asked if he was planning on making a return.

Speaking at an event, “I will be there for the last game. I didn’t want to go earlier to be honest because I didn’t want to jinx it!

They win all the time and I’m the first time in the stadium and they lose! So, I’ll go there when it’s decided.”

Klopp’s return once Arne Slot’s team has won the league would be a great moment for everyone, as he played a major role in assembling this team and left it in a strong position when he left.

Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool to remarkable success over his tenure managing the club. He won the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup among several major honours.
