Former first-round pick Baker Mayfield seems to have found a home in Tampa Bay, thriving with the Buccaneers under head coach Todd Bowles.
After his second season in Tampa Bay, Mayfield took to social media to share some exciting off-field news.
Mayfield made a collaborative announcement with the "Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation," sharing the launch of the first-ever Giving Bowl.
The Buccaneers quarterback mentioned that the foundation is set to give away up to $50,000 from their charity in a bracket-style, fundraising event.
"We are so excited to get our first-ever Giving Bowl underway with help from five other Tampa Bay athletes! Competition gets underway Monday, and these athletes will need your support to advance in the Giving Bowl to win up to $50,000 from the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation for their charity!"

Baker Mayfield's wife, Emily Mayfield, explained that athletes from Tampa will be competing in the 2025 giving bowl.
She mentioned that each athlete will have a non-profit partner and will "work to advance the competition."
"Our foundation, the Baker Mayfield Foundation, will give significant donations to each of their charities throughout the three-week competition."
The bracket-style fundraising competition to support local Tampa Bay charities is set to begin on Monday (March 10) and run through March 28.
