Two players issued Moyes ultimatum, clue dropped on Carlos Alcaraz's future: Everton predicted…

Everton return to Premier League action on Saturday with an unusual late kick off away to Wolves.

David Moyes has been able to enjoy a short break from the action, with the Toffees having now returned from a warm-weather training camp in Abu Dhabi.

With Moyes steadying the ship on Merseyside, Everton are seven games unbeaten in the Premier League heading into Saturday.

The previous meeting between these two sides saw Everton emphatically win 4-0 back at Goodison Park.

Improved form under Moyes has seen Everton pull 13 points clear of Wolves, and another win on Saturday would go a long way towards securing survival.

As Everton aim to keep their fine run of form going, Everton News has dived into the potential XI Moyes could field at Molineux.

Abdoulaye Doucoure contract blow offers Carlos Alcaraz hope

Earlier this week, it was reported Everton will not extend Abdoulaye Doucoure’s contract, which is set to expire at the end of the term.

Doucoure missed the previous game against Brentford and the start of the Abu Dhabi training camp, due to the birth of his son.

In his place came Flamengo loanee Carlos Alcaraz, who is fighting for a £15m permanent move to Merseyside.

After signing in January, Alcaraz has really impressed Moyes, having returned a goal and an assist in his first start against Crystal Palace.

Saturday’s game will likely see only one of these players start, and it could provide a big indication to Alcaraz’s future whether he gets the nod.

Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom hande Everton ultimatums

It has been a hugely disappointing campaign for Jack Harrison, who finds himself set to return to Leeds United in the summer.

Harrison has impressed in Everton training recently as he looks to prove his worth in the absence of Iliman Ndiaye.

He is not alone; Jesper Lindstrom caught Moyes’ eye in recent weeks, but he and Harrison are yet to find the back of the net.

And that is something which the 61-year-old mentioned in Friday’s press conference with Moyes demanding more from both players before the end of the season.

“Well, let’s be fair. You won’t have longevity if you’re not going to get me assists and you’re not going to get me goals,” Moyes brutally put it.

“You have to find ways of coming up with those numbers. It’s just the world we’re in, we can get all of the statistics now and we can talk about it.

“Those two attacking players have done well, but I need goals from them, I need assists from them, so yeah, they both need to improve greatly.”

With both players only signed on loan deals, the pair have a lot still to prove if they are going to play on Merseyside next season.

David Moyes shares Seamus Coleman injury update

Everton have been riddled with injuries from the start of the season.

Going into March, the story is very much the same with the likes of Iliman Ndiaye out for weeks through injury.

However, Moyes could have one player returning from injury this weekend in the club legend Seamus Coleman.

“Seamus is much nearer, as well. Whether he’s ready to be involved I’m not quite sure yet, he’s still training,” said Moyes.

“We’re obviously trying not to get him re-injured. So we’re giving him every opportunity to make sure he’s fine.”

Everton predicted XI vs Wolves: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Lindstrom; Alcaraz, Harrison; Beto.
