Jarrod Bowen’s form for West Ham United down the seasons has attracted the attention of several other clubs.
Bowen has become West Ham’s talisman since being plucked from the second tier by the Irons in 2020, and his growing influence has been rewarded with the captain’s armband at the start of this season.
Despite missing a chunk of the season with injury, Bowen has still proven vital for the Hammers’ fortunes in a turbulent campaign, with seven goals making him the outright top scorer for Graham Potter’s side.
Of those seven strikes, four have proven to be the winning goals against Manchester United, Wolves, Southampton and Arsenal, and it doesn’t bare thinking about where West Ham would be without Bowen.

Dyer dismisses Bowen transfer question
Bowen may have become Mr. West Ham during his time at the London Stadium, but that hasn’t prevented the occasional transfer speculation from other well-monied Premier League sides.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
However, speaking on talkSPORT with Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent (7 March, 5:11pm), Bowen’s soon-to-be father-in-law Danny Dyer named which two clubs he’d be ‘happy’ for the 28-year-old to join.
Goldstein asked: “What about if he left to go Arsenal, how would you feel?”

Bowen is West Ham’s top scorer this season
“Impossible… he’s never going to do that, is he?”, Dyer replied. “Why would he, what’s in it for him?”
“Chance of silverware?”, Goldstein replied. “Actually, not Arsenal – let’s say Real Madrid came in for him?”
Dyer replied: “Real Madrid? Well then he’s got to go, hasn’t he? Real Madrid, yeah, for sure.”
Bent added: “[Manchester] City? What about City?”
Dyer said: “City? Listen, it’s his career. I wouldn’t mind City, I’d suffer that – it would hurt, I’m not going to lie it would hurt me, but he’s a grown man, he makes his own decisions.
“Obviously it would hurt, but of course, I’d be over the moon for him.”

Jarrod Bowen at West Ham for the long haul
There’s no denying that Bowen’s quality is capable of far more than 15th place in the Premier League – where West Ham currently find themselves – but he’s surely set to be part of the Irons’ revival next term.
The current campaign has been one to forget for the Hammers, with Potter replacing Julen Lopetegui following the Spaniard’s dismissal after a dismal 22 games in which his side struggled to ever get going.
Of the six wins West Ham recorded under Lopetegui, Bowen found the net in five of them, proving to be the decisive goalscorer in three as the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus’ form slumped.
Though often utilised as a makeshift striker this term in the absence of a fit and firing centre-forward at the London Stadium, Bowen will surely find himself on the right of a front three in Potter’s new system.
A significant summer awaits for West Ham with Potter’s transfer priority being to solve their striker problem, but if Bowen stays put, any incomings will be playing next to the Hammers’ most reliable source of goals.
