Arsenal are preparing an offer to sign striker Dusan Vlahovi ć from Juventus this summer.
This is by no means the first time that the Gunners have been linked with the Serbian international, with their interest dating back to his days playing for Fiorentina.
There were also suggestions that they could move for him in the last January transfer window, but, in the end they chose to sit on their hands, a move that backfired when they then lost a host of attacking players to injury.
Now the North London club are ready to firm up their interest with a bid of ₤25 million, and the Italian’s club room to negotiate for a higher fee restricted by the fact that he will just have one year left on his current contract.
Juventus also face financial issues off the pitch, and there are suggestions that they would be happy to get one of the highest earners in Serie A off their books.
