“It’s vital that women are behind the lens because it allows us to break barriers – and break them together. Seeing more women on the field is very inspiring.
“I love shooting here in the UK. I’m not from here, but I love it because I definitely think it’s about community over competition. Everyone just needs to open the door for the next person behind them.
“As a black woman, it’s also significant for me to be down there. Maybe someone in the stands sees me and realises they can do this too. At the very least, they have a visual of someone like them, showing that it’s possible.”
