Celtic midfielder Bruno Davidson has revealed he is packing in football to pursue his dream of breaking into the fashion industry.
The 20-year-old - who was born in Singapore - has been a regular member of the Hoops' B team over the past three seasons and played an important part in the side's Glasgow Cup triumph in 2023. Davidson has also seen action in the UEFA Youth League against the likes of Real Madrid and Lazio, netting in an impressive 2-0 win against the latter last season.
But with his contract running out at the end of May, the Celtic youngster has now announced he is giving up football to try and take his own fashion business Bruno Narducci - which is inspired by his Italian grandfather Pasquale Narducci's own clothing label - to the next level. Writing on Instagram on Friday, he said: "I'm excited to finally share that I've made the decision to step away from football to fully pursue my passion for fashion and launch my own clothing brand.
"This has been in the works for a while, but the time feels right to announce it now. For those who know me, you know this isn't a sudden shift, my decision was made over a long period of time and was well thought out and planned. This is something I've been passionate about for years, and now I'm ready to take that next step. A huge thank you to Celtic for the memories, the friendships, the experiences and the lessons that shaped me.
On continuing his grandfather's legacy, he added: "His work was never just about making clothes—it was about craftsmanship, relationships, and perseverance in a new world. Back then, clothing wasn’t just fabric and thread, it was a symbol of identity and personal detail.

"I’ve spent the last while reflecting on his journey, imagining what it must have been like to arrive in Toronto as a 20-year-old kid with nothing, stepping into a world where everything was different, including the language, yet his hands still knew how to create. That relentless dedication to his craft and his family is what shaped me. Now, in 2025, I proudly carry forward his vision under the name Bruno Narducci.
"In a time where true craftsmanship and attention to detail feels rare, we remain rooted in the principles that built this name, every piece crafted with intention, with love and with the same devotion my Nonno put into his work. This is more than a brand, it’s a bridge between generations."
