Liverpool are interested in signing SC Braga winger Roger Fernandes during the summer transfer window
The current expectation is that Liverpool will be particularly keen to bolster the offensive department after going quite in the last two transfer windows.
Arne Slot has enjoyed a phenomenal debut season at Anfield, getting the best out of the squad that he inherited from the legendary Jurgen Klopp. The Dutchman has utilised the squad brilliantly, but with potential departures expected at the end of June, new signings are an absolute must ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Mohamed Salah is among three Liverpool superstars coming to the end of their contract. As things stand, the Egyptian will leave Anfield on a free transfer this summer. Thus, the Merseysiders are keeping an eye on the market for potential options to replace Salah.

According to an exclusive report from TBR Football, Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs interested in SC Braga prodigy Roger Fernandes. They have scouted the winger extensively over the last 12 months.
Roger Fernandes is the latest highly-rated talent to rise in prominence in Portugal. Having graduated from the youth ranks of SC Braga, the Guinea Bissau native broke into the first-team squad back in 2021 and has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of years.
The teenager has already racked up 44 appearances across all competitions this season, registering five goals and as many assists. Fernandes has played on both flank and in midfield, displaying his versatility. This has put the Braga talent on the radar of several Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Arne Slot will likely spend heavily during the summer transfer window
The aforementioned report adds Fernandes signed a new contract with Braga last summer until 2028, which contains a release clause of €40million. With so many clubs vying for the Braga wide-man’s signature, it would not be easy for Liverpool to sign him.
Explosive, speedy, dynamic and unpredictable, Fernandes would be a solid long-term addition to the Reds’ attacking ranks. Signing the Braga prodigy fits into Liverpool’s desire to sign the top young players in football, and his arrival could be exciting for Arne Slot’s side. He has been used in multiple positions across attack and midfield by the Braga boss this season, which highlights his positional flexibility, even though his future lies on the right flank.
