Jamie O'Hara issues one-word message over Richarlison's Tottenham future as Everton show…

The Friedkin Group will be looking to make a statement at Everton in this summer’s transfer window.

It will be the new owners’ first real opportunity to put their own stamp on the side following the takeover in December.

Everton are flying in the Premier League, with big improvements made over the last month and a half.

The decision to bring David Moyes back to Merseyside has proven to be an inspired one as the Toffees pull away from the bottom three.

Although he may be departing, Kevin Thelwell expects a big summer of transfers at Everton and they are going to need it.

Beto may well have impressed Everton fans, but Moyes is going to need more firepower in the summer.

One name which will be on the mind of many on Merseyside is the Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison.

Jamie O’Hara begs Tottenham to sell Everton target Richarlison

Ahead of the summer, Everton are showing an interest in Richarlison in what would be yet another Merseyside reunion.

The Brazilian forward is enduring a rough period of his career in north London after struggling to find his form since leaving Goodison Park.

Speaking to ESPN, former Spurs player Jamie O’Hara has begged Tottenham to move on from the Brazilian this summer.

Taking part in a ‘sell or keep’ challenge, O’Hara sent a message to those in north London to offload a number of players.

One of those was Richarlison with the former midfielder not having to think twice in saying: ‘Sell’.

It has been suggested David Moyes does like Richarlison as a player but there may well be questions as to whether a deal could be pulled off.

A return to Merseyside would be a blockbuster move for Everton as they head into their new stadium, but there are a lot of concerns to consider.

What Heung-min Son previously said about Richarlison

Tottenham would be open to selling Richarlison for £40m, with the Lilywhites accepting they are going to make a loss on their £60m investment.

It just simply has not worked for the Brazilian in N17 as he has battled with injuries which have cost him regular minutes.

However, he is still a player who has a lot of ability.

Tottenham superstar Heung-min Son has waxed lyrical about Richarlison during his time at the club.

“We always want to have a good time when we play with each other. Richy obviously had a very tough time, a tough season. But I was very, very happy. I was probably more happy than him,” Son said in 2023.

“We need him as a team, he has really good quality but the confidence is massively different. For Richy today I just wanted to give him the big hug he deserved. He really showed his quality.”

If he could manage to stay fit, then perhaps Moyes would fancy himself to help the 27-year-old get back to his best.
