Everton are ‘strongly interested’ in Tammy Abraham as Roma look to find a destination for him this summer.
That’s [according to Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/milan-abraham-non-sara-confermato-il-west-ham-ha-gia-avviato-i-primi-contatti), who report that Everton, alongside Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham, are keen on the Englishman.
They explain that Roma have to find a solution to Abraham’s future this summer as AC Milan, who he is currently on loan with, do not want to sign him permanently.
He joined the Italian side this season and hoped to convince them to buy him permanently but that has not happened, and he will be returning to Roma at the end of the season.
They don’t want the striker either, though, having already replaced him last summer when they spent big on Artem Dovbyk.
A return to the Premier League is the most likely outcome as there’s no market for him in Italy and several sides are lining up. Everton and Wolves are among those who are ‘strongly interested’ in bringing him back.
Abraham is open to a return to his homeland but wants to join a ‘top-tier club’ if he does end up leaving Roma. Whether he’d consider Everton or Wolves at that level is up for debate.
A deal would not be difficult to get done with the Toffees given they are owned by the Friedkin Group, who are also the owners of Roma.
We’d suggest that might have led to them being thrown into the mix here, but with Dominic Calvert-Lewin seemingly set to depart, a move for Abraham could make sense on multiple fronts.
