Liverpool and Man United target valued at£40 million

Premier League leaders Liverpool face relegation-threatened Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

Arne Slot’s side have been formidable this term and currently sit 13 points clear at the top of the table with just ten games remaining, and the Dutchman therefore looks likely to guide the Reds to just their second ever Premier League title in his first season in England.

Liverpool are expected to cruise to victory over the Saints at Anfield, with the south coast side rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.

In the meantime, it appears that one of Liverpool’s transfer targets could be available for around £40 million this summer.

According to Football Insider, Fulham will listen to offers in excess of £40 million for full-back Antonee Robinson this summer.

The US international has attracted interest from both Liverpool and Manchester United, the report claims, having impressed in the Premier League this season.

Robinson has been linked with both Manchester United and Liverpool

Robinson, 27, joined the Cottagers from Football League outfit Wigan Athletic in 2020 and has since played 179 times for the West London side across all competitions.

This season the American has registered ten assists in 27 Premier League games for Marco Silva’s side, helping them mount a challenge for European qualification.

It is claimed that Liverpool are on the hunt for a potential long-term successor to Andy Robertson, who faces an uncertain future on Merseyside.

The report does claim, however, that Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez is currently of more significant interest to the Reds, although Robinson is firmly on the club’s radar as they assess potential targets.

Robinson is under contract with the Whites until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but Fulham could face a battle to keep hold of the left-back with both Liverpool and United showing interest in the player.
