Draymond Green Sends Two-Word Message to Ernie Johnson After Interview

Veteran sports broadcaster Ernie Johnson was a recent guest on "The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis," hosted by the show's eponymous NBA personalities.

During the episode, the three discussed several subjects, including Johnson's career journey, his experience on "Inside the NBA," LeBron James becoming the first NBA player in history to score at least 50,000 points, March Madness and the NBA Playoffs.

Overall, it was a well-received episode, thanks in large part to the presence of the 68-year-old Johnson, who has covered non-basketball sports during his illustrious career in the business, having called golf, football, baseball and even the Winter Olympics.

A listener of the episode later shared a photo of the show, praising Johnson and tagging the Golden State Warriors star forward. The former NBA Defensive Player of the Year then reshared that post with praise of his own for their podcast guest.

"special ineed!" wrote Green.

Green and Johnson are no strangers to being on a show together. The four-time NBA champion signed a multi-year deal with Turner Sports in 2022, leading to several appearances on the Sports Emmy Award-winning program that also features NBA legends Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley and former Houston Rockets guard Kenny Smith.

As for his job on the court in the 2024-25 NBA season, things are looking up for Green and the Warriors.

Golden State is fresh off a successful five-game road trip that the team concluded with a 4-1 record following a 121-119 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
