Three Wolves players who must perform against Everton include star who hasn't scored this year…

Wolves are preparing for an important Premier League match against Everton. The Old Gold will welcome the Toffees to Molineux on Saturday night.

Wolves vs Everton has been selected for live broadcast with the end result guaranteed to be decisive in the race for survival.

The Old Gold are the team in the worst form and will be up against it even more following Matheus Cunha’s straight red card against Bournemouth.

As a result of the Brazilian’s absence, Molineux News have looked at which three Wolves first team players will need to step up and perform if Vitor Pereira is to take anything away from David Moyes’ tough-to-crack Toffees.

Jorgen Strand Larsen

Jorgen Strand Larsen has failed to score a single goal, in any competition, so far this year.

The Norwegian’s dire numbers have gone under the radar because of Cunha’s impressive form, but that is no longer the case.

Cunha’s suspension will put the pressure on Strand Larsen though, and failure to find the back of the net will only amplify concerns over his ability to play in the Premier League.

Strand Larsen is likely to start in attack against Everton, but the Celta Vigo loanee, with just 11 games left in the campaign, can’t keep fans waiting for a good performance much longer.

Emmanuel Agbadou

Emmanuel Agbadou’s injury against Liverpool last month forced him onto the sidelines. However, Agbadou is back and expected to make his full return against Everton on Saturday.

Agbadou, who joined Wolves in January, has been a rock at the back in the majority of the games he’s played in.

Agbadou’s Opponents Rating

Bristol City (FA Cup) 7.0

Newcastle 6.6

Chelsea 6.4

Arsenal 7.7

Aston Villa 7.2

Blackburn (FA Cup) 6.9

Liverpool 6.8

The Ivorian’s importance is confirmed by how much consideration Pereira has given to an immediate recall, probably at the expense of Santiago Bueno.

Similarly to Strand Larsen, Hwang Hee-chan has had a disappointing season. The South Korean has offered very little and come under immense fire as a result.

A recent injury setback took some of the pressure off, but with Cunha now out for at least three matches, Hwang may be forced to return with more pressure on him than he’d have been expecting.

Although there are no guarantees the 29-year-old will start against the Toffees on Saturday, he has a good chance, and if Pereira does throw him in, he absolutely must stand up and be counted because there is no more room for passengers.
