PSG were reportedly shocked by the lack of quality from Liverpool in their Champions League clash
PSG players were reportedly left "shocked" by the lack of quality from Liverpool in their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday night, despite losing 1-0 at home.
Luis Enrique's men dominated the game against the Reds with more than 70 per cent possession at the Parc des Princes, but Arne Slot's men still managed a smash-and-grab victory through Harvey Elliott's late winner.
PSG will be ruing their failure to convert their chances but now the team are "obsessed" with making things right in the second leg after seeing Slot's men up close, according to French outlet L'Equipe.
The same report claims PSG also felt more comfortable against Liverpool than they did against Arsenal and Bayern Munich in the group stages, having lost to both those teams.

PSG were also surprised by Liverpool's perceived time wasting during the game in Paris, something captain Virgil van Dijk refuted after the game.
The Ligue 1 side had 27 attempts against Liverpool, which is the second-most on record from a team in a Champions League knockout game that failed to score and lost.
Alisson was also in superb form to deny PSG, making a host of top saves to keep Liverpool in the game before they struck their late winner.

PSG felt Arsenal were a more difficult opponent after facing them earlier this season
PSG boss Luis Enrique said the result was "not fair" and vowed to play the same exact way at Anfield next week, confident of securing qualification to the quarter-finals.
"Today it wasn’t about details," he said. "Alisson had an amazing game. They only play like that against us because we didn’t let them play.
"In the first five minutes they played better than us, but only for that. Then it was all about PSG. Nobody saw anything else tonight. One team was above the other, we all saw that. Is the result fair? No, the result is not fair.
"We are just a team that has got nothing to lose. We will go to Liverpool and play exactly as we did today."
