Arsenal have no intention to sell star attacker despite rumours

Arsenal have no intention to sell one of their star attackers leave this summer. There were high rumours about the player moving away from North London but it looks like he will stay beyond this season.

Gunners are set to have a busy summer transfer window. They are set to make signings in almost all parts of the pitch. But, their priority will be to improve their attack. Mikel Arteta wants to bring in new striker and new winger this summer.

As for striker, Gunners have Isak and Sesko as their top priority with Sesko having lead to end at North London. On the other hand, Nico Williams is the top target for winger position. All of these three players will surely cost a hefty fee.

Sesko can cost €80 million whereas Nico Williams will cost €58 million. In addition, Isak may cost as high as €180 million. Hence, the North London club will need to generate funds in order to get the deals done.

The recent reports have linked both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard with away moves. The Belgian will enter the final year of his contract and is 30 years old. Hence, Arsenal can opt to cash-in on him in summer with Saudi clubs interested.

On the other hand, Martinelli is key asset for Arteta. In addition, he is only 30 years old and first choice left winger. But, the reports stated that Gunners may still opt to sell him due to the dip in his form since last season.

Arsenal unwilling to sell Gabriel Martinelli

Despite the rumours, Football Transfers have reported that Martinelli is very happy at Arsenal. In addition, the North London club are also happy with the Brazilian and have no intention to sell him this summer. Hence, this may put an end to exit rumours of 23 year old.

Martinelli may still lose his place as regular starter next season. If Arsenal do end up signing Nico Williams, he will replace the Brazilian from starting lineup. This may later change the player’s mind of staying at the Emirates.
