Could Titans Target Dolphins Star Amid Uncertainty Surrounding Future?

This free agency process will be significant for all 32 teams and players who will become free agents.

Among the most sought-after players this offseason is Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland. Over four seasons with the Dolphins, Holland has quietly emerged as one of the more underrated defensive players.

A reliable tackler, Holland shows great instincts to make plays and excels in both man and zone coverage. In his 60 games, he has accumulated 301 total tackles, 219 solo tackles, 10 quarterback hits, five sacks, five forced fumbles, and 25 pass breakups.

With some salary cap space, the Dolphins have room to re-sign Holland, especially after restructuring Bradley Chubb's contract this season. However, Holland is unlikely to take a pay cut.

Pro Football Focus projects Holland to sign a four-year, $96 million deal with his new team.

A desperate team like the Tennessee Titans could be a strong contender. With nearly $63.2 million in available salary cap space this offseason, they have the sixth-most cap space in the league. Friday's release of edge rusher Harold Landry freed up $10.9 million.

In free agency, the Titans could address their defensive needs and then use the 2025 NFL Draft to select a franchise quarterback, a reliable receiver, and an offensive lineman.

Holland could become the immediate leader of the Titans' defense. He could also immediately step in at free safety, as Quandre Diggs and Mike Brown are free agents. Tennessee needs help after finishing with the third-worst scoring defense in the league last season.
