West Ham United host Newcastle United at the London Stadium on Monday with a chance to make it three league wins in a row.
Graham Potter’s side head into the Premier League clash with the Magpies off the back of victories over Arsenal and Leicester City, having also kept clean sheets in both.
West Ham have already beaten Newcastle 2-0 at St. James’ Park this season in what proved to be the high watermark of Julen Lopetegui’s doomed tenure, but eight teams separate them in the table.

Preview
West Ham head into this game having strung back-to-back wins together for the very first time this season; a sign of progress under Potter which never looked like coming from his predecessor.
Before those successive victories over Arsenal and Leicester, though, the Irons were winless in four, a draw with Aston Villa being their only point amid losses to Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Brentford.

MORE WEST HAM STORIES
As a result, West Ham remain a lowly 15th in the Premier League table despite winning two in a row, but they could climb up to 13th if they better Tottenham and Manchester United’s results this weekend.
Newcastle’s form has been even more erratic across their last six, with losses to Bournemouth, Fulham, Manchester City and Liverpool coming either side of wins over Southampton and Nottingham Forest.

Team News
The biggest question mark for West Ham coming into this game hangs over Lucas Paqueta who is a doubt to feature after an ankle injury, with his three-week hearing over FA betting charges set to begin.
Vladimir Coufal also faces a late fitness test, and while Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug are expected to be back fit before the end of the season, the same can’t be said for Michail Antonio.
West Ham predicted XI v Newcastle United
Like West Ham, Newcastle are also set to be without their number 10, after England winger Anthony Gordon was suspended following his red card for violent conduct in their FA Cup loss to Brighton.
Kieran Trippier being doubtful leaves the Magpies with a question mark over their right-back spot too, but Jamaal Lascelles, Lewis Hall and Sven Botman are all longer-term absentees for Eddie Howe’s side.
Predicted lineups
West Ham: Areola, Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Cresswell, Scarles Soucek, Alvarez, Soler, Ferguson, Bowen.
Newcastle United: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento, Guimaraes, Tonali, Joelinton, Murphy, Isak, Barnes

Where to watch?
The Hammers face Newcastle on Monday, 10 March at 8 pm and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League.
Prediction: West Ham 2–1 Newcastle United
It’s set to be a tight match, but with West Ham seemingly back on an upward trajectory for the first time in a while and Newcastle in erratic form themselves, the Irons could well come away with three points.
West Ham’s previously leaky defence – which has shipped the fourth-most goals in the Premier League – has been shored up by Potter in recent weeks, while Newcastle’s has conceded 16 in their last six.
Having already got the better of the Magpies at St. James’ Park this term during Lopetegui’s flawed time in charge, Potter will be keen to match the result of his predecessor and has a team capable of doing so.
