Fans got VIP treated with some up close and personal time with the members of the Silver & Black

The San Antonio Spurs hosted their inaugural “Champions for Change” event on Wednesday, March 5, at the Victory Capital Performance Center, bringing together Spurs players, coaches and community members for an evening of philanthropy and entertainment. The event featured interactive games, exclusive experiences and opportunities to connect with Spurs players and staff, all while raising vital funds for local initiatives. This first-of-its-kind event reinforced the Spurs ongoing commitment to making a lasting impact in the San Antonio community through Spurs Give.
Over 350 guests attended the event that raise more than $450,000 for community initiatives supported by Spurs Give.
Corinna Holt Richter, Spurs Sports & Entertainment Board of Representatives Member & Spurs Give Board Chair stated,
“Champions For Change is another reflection of our ongoing commitment to San Antonio. We are not only celebrating the strength and resilience of our community but also investing in its future. It’s inspiring to see our entire team and so many community members come together to create such a lasting impact.”
The night involved dining, drinks, games and an auction alongside Spurs players and coaches, followed by an afterparty presented by Pritchard Sports & Entertainment.
Kara Allen, Chief People, Impact and Belonging Officer at SS&E shared,
“Champions for Change is more than just an event—it’s a testament to the power of community and collective impact. We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and investing in initiatives that create meaningful change. Seeing our players, staff and community come together in support of our city is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to continue building a stronger, more connected San Antonio.”
