Chelsea are in contact to sign €50 million costing defender this summer. They are joined by multiple other top clubs out of which one is from England.
The Blues are keen to improve their defensive units this summer. They are ready to spend big and sign atleast 2 new defenders. As of now, Marc Guehi is their top target and the West London club are trying hard to welcome him back from Crystal Palace.
Chelsea also have plenty other names on their radar. One of them is Dean Huijsen but his race is going to be very complicated due to the amount of clubs interested in him. Amidst all this, 27 year old star is also being linked heavily with the West London club.
The star in question here is David Hancko who is Dutch defender. He currently plays for Feyenoord and has been their regular starter since joining in 2022. He has so far played 130 games for Feyenoord and has delivered both defensively and offensively.
Hancko mainly plays as centre-back but is also adaptable as left-back. This makes him key asset for the club. He is very good in going forward to help the team in attack. So far, Hancko has scored 15 goals and picked 10 assists for Feyenoord.

Feyenoord have made it clear that Hancko will cost €50 million to any interested club. As for Tottenham, they may be prepared to spend the demand price but may fail to convince the player. This is due to their absence in Champions League football next season.
