If you like to follow our Leicester City fantasy updates, we have made them available here. We will follow a natural pattern on how we believe a football club at this level and potential would evolve.
The January transfer window is a tricky one. However, if we consider the injuries, this is our belief on how it could have been done.
The club should have looked at potential short term and long term additions. Loans or an out the season signing would be nice to add. If finding a player who could go straight into the team to strengthen it, transfers should be considered.
Ademola Lookman is said to be a Liverpool target at this moment, being valued to £37million. Believe a bid in the region of £30million would have triggered Atalanta and Lookman. Lookman has joined Leicester before. With him in the side, Leicester would have secured their mid table position this season.
A central defender with a profile of someone so strong that he would have gone straight into the team is another preferred move. One having Premier League experience would be preferred, but also considering going abroad to find this man. The man to call, Moise Bombito from Nice. Bombito is the fastest central defender in Europe. He would have given Leicester a chance to play with a high defensive line. He was available in the summer, joining Nice from Colorado Rapids for fee of $7.7 million.
After watching Moise Bombito, he is a much better alternative than Caleb Okoli. Moise was available for half the price or even lower. If he had been a failure, Leicester had taken on risk with such a low signing fee. We believe he is a bit special. At 24 years of age, he has one very ideal special skill, his high speed. He has played 19 games for Nice this season. His latest appearance was in the 3-1 away win to St Etienne. Nice are 3rd in Ligue 1 at this moment.
Being successful in Premier League action requires adaptability. You need to be able to change a back line from four to three in different games. Having a player like Bombito offers you that option. His pace is phenomenal. He would have fitted in with Faes and Vestergaard in defence, even playing as a right back alternative in a four or having the job alongside Faes or Vestergaard in a three.
Conor Coady would have been the January questionmark. Leicester could have gone for Bombito in the summer. However, with so many players under contract, Coady was the one to leave out. We would have given Coady a chance to join a new club in January.

Adding Mombito and Lookman in January looks like a very difficult task. However, in this scenario, we believe it could have happened. We have also made Conor Coady a loan or a sale in this window. With a bid on the table for Kasey McAteer in the region of £10million, that move would also have happened.
Transfers In: Ademola Lookman, Moise Bombito, Willian, Transfers Out: Conor Coady, Kasey McAteer Loans Out: Harry Souttar, Victor Kristiansen, Danny Ward
Squad:
Goalkeepers: Mads Hermansen, Jacub Stolarczyk, Daniel Iversen, Defenders: Luke Thomas, James Justin, Ricardo Pereira, Brandon Cover, Moise Bombito, Ben Nelson, Jannik Vestergaard, Wout Faes, Midfield: Will Alves, Hamza Choudhury, Bouba Soumare, Wilfred Ndidi, Harry Winks, James McAtee, Jordan James, Forwards: Jamie Vardy, Tom Cannon, Willian, Ademola Lookman, Patson Daka, Abdul Fatawu, Stephy Mavididi
25 players in this squad. Leicester would have taken a further step up towards a top 8 position. Again having players such as Jordan James, Ben Nelson, and Will Alves all under the age of 21. They would not have filled the full squad numbers.
